Sliding open the doors each morning to step onto our private deck — coffee in hand, waves lapping gently — felt like living in a postcard.

We chose the Head, Neck, and Shoulders massage, and it was sublime. The therapists know exactly what they’re doing — every stroke and technique releases tension, leaving you completely renewed. The spa overlooks the turquoise lagoon, making each visit feel like a mini-retreat within paradise.

Transfers: 45-minute speedboat from Velana International Airport (Male)

Best time to visit: November–April for sun; May–October for dramatic skies (check out our lightning storm video!)
Travel Tip: We booked through Emirates, which was significantly cheaper than British Airways. Although not a direct flight, the stop in Dubai allowed us to stretch our legs and explore the airport.
