Why We’re Really Doing This
For four and a half years, we pressed pause on life. We became supported Jacqui’s mum through terminal cancer. Life… kind of fell apart. Plans got shelved. Dreams put on hold. The world got very small.
When you walk that close to the edge — you realise something.
Life isn’t waiting. Nobody is coming to save you or to give you the life of your dreams. You have to create it.
There’s no “perfect time.” There’s no guarantee that one day will ever come. We realised if we didn’t go now… we might never go.
So this isn’t all just about bucket lists and beaches. It’s about choosing joy — even when it feels wildly inconvenient.
it’s about refusing to let life pass quietly by. It’s about making memories that are louder than fear, louder than grief, louder than doubt. And creating mixtapes along the way.
And it’s a love letter to the woman who taught us in more way than one - you have to grab life by the balls 🕊️
